SYNOPSIS

AIM Television was provided exclusive access to the units of the US Army and the Indian Army that participated in an annual joint training exercise between the two Armies during September 2014.

In the film “Yudh Abhyas: Gurkhas and Arctic Wolves” we go inside the so far secret world of Army to Army cooperation between the US Army and the Indian Army. We will reveal how they jointly prepare to face the challenges of an increasingly complex 21st century world. Their objective is to protect US and Indian interests worldwide. For the first time on Indian Television, we show how the Indian Army’s 2/9 Gurkhas and US Army’s Arctic Wolves combine together to form a formidable force against terror.

Indian Holiday – Another masterpiece on travel in India, the programme showcased the best destinations for all kinds of holiday options.

Its episodes included trekking in Ladakh, scuba diving in Lakshadweep, tea tasting in Munnar (Kerala), tiger-spotting on elephant-back in Kanha (MP), sightseeing in regal Udaipur (Rajasthan), motor bike safari in Lahaul/Spiti (HP) as well as some choice International destinations: South Africa, Kenya, Maldives and Sri Lanka.The series also presented “exotic journeys” through several lesser-known destinations around the country. This series has had several re runs on Sony TV.

India Magic

 

India Magic – This programme showcased various lesser-known facets of exotic India. India Magic had a magazine format of three stories per episode.

The first segment showcased exotic journeys to lesser-known destinations like Saboo-Pangong, Shillong- Cherrapunji etc. The second segment featured India’s unique environment – the exotic and unusual landscape, flora and fauna and bio-diversity in its raw form with “Saving the Earth” as the main motto. The third segment showcased India’s rich cultural heritage – the people and their vibrant traditions – music, dance, art, colourful fairs displaying local flavour, myths and legends related to them, like festivals of Ladakh, Nicobarese Tribe of Andaman, dances of Kerala etc. India Magic’s objective was to bring about awareness and appreciation of the unique environment and cultural heritage of India .
